Death Costs More Than Life (in prison)

The stamp itself is half assed. Ignore that part of it.

But it's true. The death penalty costs a fuck load more than life in prison? Why? Because of all they have to go through to prove the person should die. And THAT costs a lot of money. Because if you kill someone innocent, there's no going back. If you put someone in jail who's innocent, there's at least oops, sorry, here's money. Plus, even after the costly process of trying someone for a potential death penalty... the person often gets life. Yay! Wasted money! So all that tax money going to people sentenced to life? Well, it's hell of a lot less that money going to kill them.

"but if we didn't make the process so extensive-" innocent people could be killed. Yeah. There's no way to make it less expensive. Sorry.
