and then saw people say that they're not feminists, they're EQUALITS! and that being a feminist is lyk, omg sexist!!

You obviously don't know what feminism is if you think that. Feminism is about being equal to men, not superior. There are women who want to be superior, that's true. But they aren't feminists. They may call themselves that, but they're not. They're some of the people who don't understand what feminism is, and think it's about being superior. They are wrong, and they are just giving the rest of us a bad name.

"Equalist"? I think that everyone should be equal. To me feminism is an aspect of that label. As is someone who promotes equal rights for gays and people of different races. All that is what makes up an equalist.

So if you think that everyone should be equal? You're a feminist, because you believe women should be equal to men.
